If you personally don't like the incandescent light bulb color of 2,700K, or you want to be able to have a bit more color acuity, 3,000K is most likely your best option. We typically recommend our customers to consider 3,000K lighting for kitchen, laundry, bathroom and home office areas where visual tasks are more common, and warmth and relaxation is not the primary concern. Haven’t installed yet, but these were a great value on sale! I’ve seen some places charging 80 per light and the cheapest other option was still 40. Since I have to buy a large volume of these, a savings of 5-10 per light realllllly adds up! Doing these in a handful of rooms and will probably end up ordering more and phasing out all of our old lights once we finish the first part of our remodel. Theresa. Sun Sep 21 2025
