The telescoping pole extends up to 40.5" tall, while the swing arm and linen shade offer customizable, glare-free lighting in minutes.

I love the various positions in which this lamp can be placed. Originally it was located on my desk, but seems we are constantly moving it around for a different use. When I first saw the small size of the base, I was afraid that the lamp would be a tipping problem. But the base, though small enough to fit in your hand to add extra support when moving, provides a perfect weight for the lamp. It took about five minutes to assemble and arrived well-packaged with lots of padding.. Janice. Durant, OK. Sun Mar 22 2026

It is stunning. I could not be happier. The lamp is stylistically quite different (more formal) than what I usually choose for my decor. It is that contrast--between the casual farmhouse vibe of my office and this elegant piece--that makes such a statement.. Judith. Arlington, VA. Tue Jun 09 2020

This hidden ingenuity allows for feather touch control to adjust the light exactly where wanted. This is a rare lighting collection where the look is as beautiful as the movement.

Great, but would be better if it had an on/off switch, or remembered its state when powered on. Right now one has to cycle through all the states to get to the one targeted.. Romain. Waltham, MA. Sun May 03 2026

Sleek, sculptural, and steeped in history, the Tambo Cylindro 60" Accent Floor Lamp from NOVA of California reimagines a classic mid-century material for contemporary interiors. This tall floor lamp features a vertical tambour wood design, paired with a frosted acrylic diffuser and weathered brass detailing. Originally conceived by designer Peter Morelli in 1969 - drawing inspiration from the tambour textures of roll-top desks - this refined lighting piece delivers an ambient glow that softens the space with warmth and elegance. A striking addition to living rooms, reading corners, or bedrooms, it stands as both a light source and a modern heirloom.

We had to order this a couple of times. The first one arrived damaged - not from shipping as Nova had claimed. It was clear that it had been repacked based on a prior return with defects - scratched glass shade, missing screws and damaged base. The replacement came in good shape, is attractively designed and fits in a tight footprint. The light doesn’t throw off as much light as we’d like but it’s nice. Nova’s QA on this piece is not great. Rob. Fri Oct 16 2026

This lamp is accurate to site description and good quality. It's exactly what I wanted in a table clip-on lamp shade. One thing you should note if you are going to use it on an angled drafting table: the base rotates to turn the lamp right or left, but it will only stay to the right or left if you are using it on a level desk (as most people probably would). I am using it on a tilted drafting table, but I don't mind it.. Thomas. San Francisco, CA. Mon Dec 14 2015
