Today I got the package for silk lampshade. I have 7 orient lamps all with silk shades. The one I got early 2001 with beige scalloped shade with plastic lining until it turned brown and cracked. I have bought a small silk lampshade at lamp shop before. It was over $100 and now I am retired. I need a new shade so badly and I tried Wayfair and looked carefully with sizes. It’s affordable. Got the shade and touched carefully. The fabric is really silk! So I placed on the lamp. Sides was correct 12 inches. The bottom and top was 1.5 inches short. My lamp shades arrived and while they're pretty and I've had them now for almost three years, they aren't exactly what I expected. The picture doesn't clearly display the texture. I thought it would have more of a sued texture. I'm not dissatisfied with them, they are in fact easier to clean than they would be if they were sued. But I just wanted to point out that the image is a little different than the product in hand. That said, they match perfectly in my room and fit the style of my lamp bases just fine.
