Today I got the package for silk lampshade. I have 7 orient lamps all with silk shades. The one I got early 2001 with beige scalloped shade with plastic lining until it turned brown and cracked. I have bought a small silk lampshade at lamp shop before. It was over $100 and now I am retired. I need a new shade so badly and I tried Wayfair and looked carefully with sizes. It’s affordable. Got the shade and touched carefully. The fabric is really silk! So I placed on the lamp. Sides was correct 12 inches. The bottom and top was 1.5 inches short. Beautiful. More white than the photo, but it still works in the area I purchased it for. It is well made and looks far more pricey than it was. The angle makes the shade so much more interesting than a straight rectangle. My lamp shades arrived and while they're pretty and I've had them now for almost three years, they aren't exactly what I expected. The picture doesn't clearly display the texture. I thought it would have more of a sued texture. I'm not dissatisfied with them, they are in fact easier to clean than they would be if they were sued. But I just wanted to point out that the image is a little different than the product in hand. That said, they match perfectly in my room and fit the style of my lamp bases just fine.
