Nice design, puts out a good amount of light. Directions a little thin, but ok for anyone who has changed a light fixture before. The adjustable wire for the free side (side opposite the outlet) probably needs to be trimmed--but nothing says this should be done. The screw that anchors the free end can go directly into the ceiling drywall anywhere--doesn't need to be drilled into wood. Two people needed to mount it and get the angles right. I used MR16 GU10 Dimmable 15,000-Hour LED Light Bulb 2700K in Soft White, and the light is crisp and warm enough (not as warm as halogen, of course, but they run cool by comparison). The specs said it needs a transformer--it doesn't just a standard 120V outlet. I am very happy with this product, just need to put in a dimmer.... Lorren. Sun Jun 30 2024

No preexisting wiring in the ceiling just an outlet so I just hard wired it with a lamp cord and hid it in wall cable management plastic. I put in Phillips bulbs and now I have too much light! I love the look and flexibility of design and bright. More of a white light. It was a little tricky to install. I planned out the way I wanted it first with tape on ceiling. Check your outlet box placement screws first. Look at all the lights once get, I had one light that was cracked, didn’t see until started to put up. It wasn’t bad enough to go through a return. I purchased this lighting for my basement where I had taken down a dropped ceiling and exposed the floor joists for a cottage look. This light was perfect since it is so low profile and allowed me to spread light everywhere as well as aim the lights where I wanted them. I liked it so much I ordered a second one for the other side of my finished basement. The lights are very easy to install, and with having 6 led bulbs it provides plenty of light across the room. The lights can be dimmed, so I installed a dimmer switch which gives me even more options with this lighting. The price was awesome too. I can’t recommend this track lighting enough. Love it!. Lynn.
