These lamps exceeded our expectations! They arrived well packaged, and even though I had already cut the box open before taking pictures, everything inside was protected and arrived in perfect condition. Assembly couldn’t have been easier, it took less than 5 minutes to have both lamps completely set up. The shades fit nicely, and the instructions (though hardly needed) were clear and straightforward. The quality is impressive for the price. The bases have a substantial feel, the finish looks even better in person, and the linen shades give off a warm, inviting light. They look much more expensive than they actually are and fit our space perfectly. Overall, this was another great Wayfair purchase. I really like these lamps! They’re different and whimsical and add character to our living room. I like the fact that you can just turn on the base, the lightbulb under the lamp, or both. It also has an option to charge a device. The on-off switches on the base. But if you want both lights on, you have to twist near the lightbulb. The reason for four stars is, the lamps I really light and can easily be knocked over and top easily when you’re trying to turn them on and off at the base but other than that, they are a keeper. The lamps are sturdy, came very well packaged, and were super easy to assemble. They also arrived very quickly. The only detail I noticed is that you can see some of the glue used on the lampshade fabric. Since the lamp is black and the glue is white, it’s noticeable. I love them! They look just like the picture. The only tiny detail that bothers me is you can see the shadows of the metal clips that hold the shades together (see pic close-up of shade). Like them very much. Pretty much what i expected. However, the shade are thin and the bulb outline is clearly visible through the shade. Also, the frame of the shade does not line up with the seams in the shade. Additionally during assembly after screwing the light fixture to the base there was a gap that fiddling with it did not close the gap. Update I did not do an adequate inspection when received. We were doing renovations so the lamp went back in the box until project completion so the return window passed. I can only hope my home repair is not too obvious. Still like them.. Theresa M.
