Brass Outdoor Ceiling Lights

Sola features a contemporary round shape with low profile, created in handcrafted glass with a low-profile aluminum pan. Besa Lighting opal glass is a soft white cased glass that can suit any classic or modern decor. Opal has a very tranquil glow that is pleasing in appearance. The smooth satin finish on the clear outer layer is a result of an extensive etching process. This blown glass is handcrafted by a skilled artisan, utilizing century-old techniques passed down from generation to generation.

A ceiling light made from a matt black metal and glass cage, complete with a sand cast metal back panel. It features a solid metal, cross knurled, lampholder with our signature coin screws. IP44 rated and ADA compliant, suitable for wet locations*, bathroom and outside use. Available in finishes. *Protected against water splashed from all directions, with limited ingress. In some cases, moisture may get into the cage but will evaporate after a short time through drainage holes.

We hung ours from a tree. In the rain, in the sun, it works and looks good. It was a bit pricey so I don't know if I would order it again, but it is definitely weather resistant and looks just like the photo. No fading, no peeling. This is more of an issue for All Modern and their lack of details on the specification page. This fixture is beautiful however, it comes with a very long rod already assembled making it difficult to adjust during the installation. We intend to hang this light from the canopy above our porch and the 31" rod makes it set far too low. We will have to take the fixture apart, cut and re-thread the extension rod and reassemble in order to make this a useful fixture. If the description had included this information I would not have ordered the light. It is custom made and non-returnable so I am stuck with it. I am building a new house and spending tens of thousands of dollars on line ordering lighting, fixtures, furniture etc. I will be unlikely to use All Modern again as I cannot trust that their descriptions are accurate. The Ainsworth 2 bulb Outdoor Flush arrived a few days after I placed the order. This fixture is exactly as described in the product specifications. 12”. I cleaned and assembled the glass panels to the frame. There are clips inside the frame which secures the glass panels in place. Took around 30 minutes or so. My husband installed the Flush mount and here is where I am unable to give this product 5 stars. For the cost of this item, the small bracket included with this Flush mount is not a winged bracket. As a result, the entire flush mount can move in a 360 degree turn and isn’t locked in a stabilized position. My hid and I are in the process of ordering a winged bracket to accomplish this goal. Also the 40w light needed is not the standard 40w. This flush mount has a slender socket and therefore needs the 40w light bulb with the smaller socket screw. We went to THD store with the frame socket platform side of this flush mount of course just to ensure accuracy that we do indeed have the right bulb and it worked out.
