I really like these lamps! They’re different and whimsical and add character to our living room. I like the fact that you can just turn on the base, the lightbulb under the lamp, or both. It also has an option to charge a device. The on-off switches on the base. But if you want both lights on, you have to twist near the lightbulb. The reason for four stars is, the lamps I really light and can easily be knocked over and top easily when you’re trying to turn them on and off at the base but other than that, they are a keeper. I chose this set of 2 brass lamps for a new room design project I've been working on. They arrived to my residence undamaged and packed very well. The lamp shades and their frames are packed for efficient shipping. You can see the lamp shade laid flat before it is clipped on the shade frame.
