Came packaged nicely. No real set up just removing some packaging, there was yellow tape with written instructions over these so not hard to know what to do. Quick start instructions, cleaning and extra supplies all included. I am not using it for essential oils but instructions said not to add to the water. I did not look for the oil reservoir and I can’t speak to how it will work. This will definitely help during the winter in our radiator system heated house.
