I searched a long time in a lot of places for a floor lamp that has a retro sensibility without being too big or too kitschy, and uses bulbs I can actually replace. I've had it for a year now; it's simple but classy and I'm delighted with it.

I really disliked this lamp - the colors were so awful it looked incredibly cheap. I ended up spray painting a gold to look less cheap and adding rub and buff. I’m just waiting to upgrade it, this lamp was my reminder to splurge on lighting or wait patiently for second hand

The pivoting head seems to hold snugly, so super easy adjustment. The brass finish has a nice brushed look that is definitely more antiqued in appearance. Stout base. Whats not to love, especially at the Open Box price!

Unfortunately, different parts of the cord had styrofoam melted onto it. I had to use a soft pad to get most of it off, but not all came off! The lamp itself is very stylish and functional as the light/shade is maneuverable, and the switch is on the pole in the middle for easy access. That is why I decided to keep it after cleaning off most of the styrofoam instead of sending it back.
