2 Hour Fire Rated Certification
This downlight is tested to withstand fire for up to 2 hours under ASTM E119, UL 263, and CAN/ULC S101. It helps contain fire spread through ceilings, floors, and ventilation runs, making it suitable for fire protected residential and commercial spaces.
Meets North American Construction Codes
Designed to meet structural and electrical safety requirements for North American projects, this fire rated downlight supports code compliant installations and helps contractors and builders move quickly through inspections.
Airtight Seal Blocks Smoke And Heat
The airtight construction limits airflow and reduces smoke migration, while built in thermal protection prevents overheating. Ideal for use in IC rated ceilings and energy sealed environments that require added fire safety.
Preserves Fire Rated Ceilings and Simple Installation
Compatible with 1/2" to 2" thick fire rated ceilings and common assemblies such as L505 and L511, the canless fixture installs easily with secure spring loaded clips. It features a die cast aluminum housing, pre installed metal junction box, and FT6 fire resistant wiring with low smoke non toxic insulation—perfect for both renovations and new construction.
Energy Efficient Directional Lighting
This gimbal fire rated downlight delivers a 38 degree beam angle with 30 degree vertical and 355 degree horizontal adjustability for precise aiming. It offers five CCT options 2700K to 5000K, 10 to 100% dimming, and CRI 90 plus. Energy efficient and RoHS compliant, it supports California Title 24, JA8, and ENERGY STAR standards and is well suited for offices, schools, malls, and other public interiors.
