Reproduced from a pair of Chinese statues, these high-quality resin sculptures have been resized for easy display on a table or bookshelf. Commonly referred to as "Foo Dogs" in the West, these figures represent lions and were traditionally placed on either side of a building entrance to act as guardians. In a mirrored pair, the male rests his paw on an orb to represent power and strength while the female rests her paw on a playful cub to symbolize nurture and care.
