Jappe Upholstered Wool Ottoman

Enhance your living space with a unique piece of world art with this pouf. The artful design is stitched by hand and brings a sense of homespun warmth anywhere it is placed. These hand-crafted poufs are made from flat-weave kilims, which are known as 'pile-less' rugs; the design is also known as 'slit-weave'. These intricate designs are achieved by interweaving the various colors of the vertical and horizontal strands of the rug. This pouf footstool was handmade by local villagers in the Judhpur area, located in the Rajasthan province of India.
