Get plenty of light and plenty of style. The floor lamp has a tapered wood body with brushed metal. The glass shade diffuses light from bulbs. An Adesso patented 300-watt double socket construction allows for two crisscrossed sockets, each holding on/off incandescent or LED bulbs which provide approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere. A simple dimmer switch is located on the shade cup to adjust the brightness. This lamp has a black cord and is smart outlet compatible. The dimmer switch adjusts the light from the low setting to the high setting to the off position.
Note: Use incandescent bulbs up to 150W or dimmable led bulbs. Do not use 3-way bulbs or CFLs. We recommend using incandescent bulbs for best results achieving both settings of 50% brightness and 100% brightness with no flicker. When using LED bulbs, it is common to see some flicker on the low setting the high setting will always have no flicker. A dimmable LED will minimize the low setting flicker, but may still occur.
