Designed for use indoors, each chair is handmade using the finest quality Malacca cane rattan with a colorful, classically woven ArtFibre™ back, arms, and seat. This dyed polyethylene material stretches for comfortable seating and maintains its shape even with constant use. Indonesian cane artisans use a century-old bending process that creates “stretch” marks on the rattan, lending to the authentic craftsmanship and originality of each piece. The Sofie side chair imparts French charm while bringing enduring comfort and durability to commercial and residential dining spaces.
