This is equipped with a medium (Edison) socket base adapter and an IDEAL quick connect to work with newer LED housings. There’s no special wiring required for the dimmer, and installation can be performed right out of the box. There are no other parts or pieces to buy. It’s that simple. In terms of quality, this was designed to be extremely energy efficient without sacrificing the material quality or LED light quality. The produces over 640 Lumens of light while drawing only 8.4-watts of energy. On the Color Rendering Index (CRI) scale, the DCR4 scores a 91 with an astonishing R9 value topping 53! This means that under this light, your reds will be “redder” and your blues will be “bluer” no matter which color temperature you choose. The product lifespan is rated for at least 54,000 hours, which equates to 18.5 years if used every day for 8 hours.
