In the early 20th century, Tiffany Studios used its artful mastery to develop the look of woven fabric with a fringed skirt out of glass. Meyda Tiffany has taken that concept one step further and transformed it into a two-light wall sconce. The shades feature Multi-hued Amber Plum fringe crowning a dome of art glass brickwork design that reveals hues of Emerald, Cobalt, Heather, Navy, Teal, and Amber. The art glass shades are created using the famous Meyda Tiffany copper foil construction process. The fixture is hand-finished in Brushed Nickel. The larger shade provides indirect light upwards and recreates a gas-powered fixture while the smaller goblet shade delivers downlighting and re-creates early electric fixtures back in the day.
