• With swooping curves and elegant shapes, the Sling pendant is a prime example of a new form of “sculptural light”. Working with a local, Vermont LED manufacturer, designers developed a light guide with a proprietary etched pattern to draw the light from end to end, with the LED embedded in the fixture’s steel channel at one end. By bending and curving the acrylic material, the light becomes part of the suspended sculpture for an ethereal feel. Designed by David Martin, the Sling builds upon Hubbardton Forge's continued exploration of ways that light-guide elements can be used to bring light and elegance to any space.
