Light Shades

Today I got the package for silk lampshade. I have 7 orient lamps all with silk shades. The one I got early 2001 with beige scalloped shade with plastic lining until it turned brown and cracked. I have bought a small silk lampshade at lamp shop before. It was over $100 and now I am retired. I need a new shade so badly and I tried Wayfair and looked carefully with sizes. It’s affordable. Got the shade and touched carefully. The fabric is really silk! So I placed on the lamp. Sides was correct 12 inches. The bottom and top was 1.5 inches short. This shade is quality. In the description, it will say made of silk, but the title says “linen”, but that is referring to only its color. It is linen colored silk. Absolutely beautiful....it arrived quickly yesterday and when I replaced the ivory shad with this one, it changed the room and uplifted the beauty of the lamp. Lovely shades! Quality is wonderful and they arrived well boxed, in protective covering and perfect condition. They are sleek and the interior is a beautiful golden foil. The seams can hardly be detected. They have a double gold colored clip on attachment that gives them support and I'm happy that they sit straight on my candelabra bulbs. These are larger/longer which was important to me and hard to find -- can't stand having a light bulb starring me in the face.
