For the price, I think these lamps are a good value. Specifically because of the scale. I looked for over a year to find lamps this size and most are much more expensive than these. I personally would rather see an empire shaped shade and some more texture on the lamps but besides that they are a great purchase. We bought two of them to go behind the couch on a sofa table and they are real statement pieces. Just remember that they are very large and make sure you have the space to show them off.
