Cora combines two rattan techniques in one shade. The crown is a tapered cap of chunky, twisted rattan weave with a rope-like texture, and an arched rattan handle sits on top, fixed with two small metal rings. Below it, slender vertical reeds swell into a rounded, open cage, held by wrapped rattan hoops and finished with a softly curved hem. The contrast between the dense crown and the airy body gives Cora a relaxed, hand-crafted charm.
When lit, the open cage casts soft, striped patterns of light and shadow. Its compact, rounded size works well over a breakfast table or kitchen island, or in a row along a hallway or covered porch. Because artisans make each Cora by hand, slight differences in weave and tone make every shade unique.
