Rare is it to find lighting fixtures constructed with real wood. Most are simply metal, painted to appear as though they are wood. However, this is not the case with the Gracie Oaks Xian collection. Featuring stained genuine wood around a steel frame, the Xian collection embraces all that its name suggests; an Americana ensemble of wood, finished steel, and glistening bulbs.Featuring stained Mango Wood as its central theme, the Xian collection is comprised of rectangular and square light fixtures. At its base is the wood, with the metal work and wiring cleverly tucked into a channel cut from its upper side. Perched from this frame are the socket bases, which feature a stepped-up, wax-catcher vintage design, and house the medium-base sockets. At the ends of the frame, angular arms reach up and then inward towards the center of the fixtures. At the top, one arm extend upwards before culminating in a ring and short chain at the canopy.
