Canova Table Lamp

Rippling horizontal bands and a finely crackled glaze give the Canova Table Lamp an organic, almost geological quality. The ceramic form moves in bold waves that catch light along every ridge, while the crazed surface splinters it again into a mesh of hairline cracks. A slim iron base grounds the sculptural body, and a tapered linen shade keeps the top half quiet so the ceramic does the talking. Put it on an entry console, a dresser, or a pair of nightstands in a contemporary bedroom.
