Designed to replicate the look of naturally aged materials, the patinas will not prevent the natural aging process that occurs in an outdoor environment.
Like stains for wood, each piece will accept our patinas in varying degrees of intensity, creating natural variations that add character and distinction to every piece. Even when applied with the same process, no two pieces will look exactly alike due to the composition of the cast stone, and the varying age of the pieces. Rather than creating uniform stains, our approach gives our products their unique beauty and appeal.

To ensure the longevity of your fountain, proper winterization must be followed. Please refer to the Fountain Assembly Instructions for this fountain for additional information
The fountain bowl/top and other fountain components, which collect water, should not be left outside in the winter since any component, which fills with water and freezes may crack, components such as pedestals, which remain in a basin, filled with water, which then freezes, may also crack or crumble, the fountain should always be stored indoors or in a dry protected place such as a covered porch away from the elements, however, if the fountain must be left outside, the pump, rubber stoppers, drainpipes, finials, and other small components should be removed for storage indoors, the fountain base should be raised from the ground with wood strips so that base will not freeze to the ground surface, the fountain should be covered or wrapped with burlap or other absorbent material (old blanket or towel) and then cover securely with plastic, making sure that water will not accumulate in the basin or other fountain component and freeze, the fountain should be checked periodically to ensure that plastic is secure and water is not accumulating in any fountain component.
