This lamp is sturdy and cute, but it’s more red and blue than purple and orange which is how it looks in the photo. It’s very lovely when lit. Make sure to buy a short E12 bulb, we bought the longer candelabra one and it was too tall for the lamp’s too rail that connects the top to the bulb base.

I really like this little lamp! It is small-just 12in tall I believe. It uses a 40 watt bulb so it's not very bright but what you would expect for the size of it. The colors on the shade are beautiful and this is just what I was looking for to put on my bookshelf in the living room. Very pretty!

the lamp looks much nicer online than in person... I have not yet bought a bulb, so if the appearance of the lamp drastically improves when the lamp is lit- I will edit this review. However, as of now, without a bulb, the colored glass is opaque and extremely bright- not subtle and delicate like the picture. Also, the black seams between the colored glass is not thin and even like the picture- it is thick, raised and uneven.
