Ella Acrylic Walk-in Tubs are vacuum formed from a solid, long-lasting acrylic sheet. Under the acrylic shell facade is a rust proof, stainless steel frame reinforced with multiple fiberglass mesh and gelcoat layers to ensure the durability of the tub’s structure. Ella’s Transfer Walk-In Tubs main feature is the aluminum L-Shape Outward Swing Door. While it was designed for wheelchair users and those with mobility issues, it has become very popular amongst everyday users due to effortless access into the tub. The door’s distinct shape and the engineering of the outward swing allows the door to clear a 21” tall toilet and create a wide entry for an easy transition from wheelchair into a smooth acrylic seat. The sleek rubber handle mounted on the inside panel of the door aids in closing the door. The L-shape outswing door is equipped with a unique gear and shaft driven, 2-latch door lock system concealed with an acrylic decorative cover. The 2-latch system creates a more secure and watertight door seal. The Transfer 30 comes with our unique Ella Dual Drain Technology (DDT) consisting of two 2” gravity driven drains with four 2” outlets, 2 overflows and 2 openers, allowing a fast, reliable drain. The 5-Piece fast-fill faucet has five (5) pieces: two temperature levers, a diverter lever, a mounted faucet and a pull out multi-functional hand shower. To control the temperature of the water, use the hot or cold lever. The third lever can divert the water between the mounted faucet and handshower. The 5-Piece faucet has a fill rate of 18 GPM (gallons per minute), based on plumbing conditions. The Heated Seat & Backrest help keep you comfortable and warm while your walk-in tub fills. It activates in minutes, keeping users relaxed from the moment they enter the tub.
