Sturdy brackets that I trust will hold. While the color of the wood is as expected, the texture of the wood is rough and I worry will make dusting impossible. Another reason for the star drop is that two of the screw heads snapped on install. Although it’s not recommended to place it above a bed, I needed a shelf that wasn’t too heavy to install above my dresser and hold my projector. I really wish the color were lighter, the way it looks in the photos (I bought the Special Walnut), but aside from that, the included pieces are great and quite heavy.
