Best Dinnerware Sets With Reviews

This dish set is awesome! It’s sturdy, scratch resistant, and hasn’t chipped yet! We use a dishwasher and we haven’t noticed a film on them either and we’ve had this set since the end of April. We ordered 2 sets and one box had a broken bowl. I took a picture and went to Contact Us, then Quick Service, follow the prompts from there and choose damaged and upload your picture. When I did that, a message popped up saying due to the inconvenience a new box is being sent to you and you can keep the box with the broken items! How fricken cool is that! So, I have the third box put away cause I still have kids at home and I’m sure we’ll have some break. Sure enough, a few days later, a plate got knocked to the floor and broke! We could not be more happy with Wayfair and their replacement process. And we didn’t have to speak to anyone! It literally took me about 2 mins to report the broken dish to see they’re sending a new box!

So happy to find a set of dishes (dinner and dessert size) and bowls without mugs, as I never need new mugs. The set was extremely affordable when I bought it and it was nice to have a few colors to choose from. Normally you can find really basis (aka boring) sets - like pure white - or something too bold so this was a nice in-between (I went with the dove gray). Seems sturdy without being terribly heavy. All in all, I've only had the set for two days, but I'm really happy with my purchase. Only downside is for me is that the dessert plates are on the smaller side, at least compared to what I'm used to.

Got these as a gift for a middle income friend. She likes them a lot. The paint is not fading. The wash well. There is not peeling. If you are a perfectionist, it doesn't get five stars since the consistency of the stripes is not always good, a little spotty on the pain job. There was one plate slightly discolored in a spot that can't be washed. If you willing to call this the luck of the draw, then you might ordinarily expect that your order will not have those little defects. If you are dealing with and OCD or perfectionist future possessor, you may want weigh whether they can handle the little dots of white where the paint job isn't perfect. I find them find to use and convenient. They look good and have no noticeable defects in design or utility (e.g., too small handles to actually grab the coffee). I have a coffee maker from hell, so I think my water come out at about 200 degrees. You do have to be cognizant that the material is not impervious to radiating heat...even if I exaggerate my coffee maker. All the same, I don't think all materials radiant like this, but this is the cost benefit analysis. Great for the non-rich no-frills person who just wants a functional set of dishes

Forty plus years ago, my Mom bought me my first place setting of china for Christmas. At the time, I didn't appreciate it and asked her why I was getting Christmas china. She said to me, "Someday, you will get married and pick out your own china. You will have big holiday celebrations and wish you had Christmas china some I am going to give you a place setting a year." It was a brilliant idea and by the time I was thirty, I was hosting huge dinner parties. Your granddaughters, nieces and daughters will thank you and what is great about this is it goes in the dishwasher! They will like that they do not have to handwash it! They are not the fine china generation like we were at all.

I bought 2 sets of this fancy dinnerware. One for myself and one for one of my friends that's so obsessed with this brand. Her mother had these when she lived in the UK. She gifted her old set to my friend. Went to visit my friend one day and accidentally broke one of her bowls They meant so much to her so I scrambled to find a replacement. Found them on Wayfair, thankfully! I bought her a 4 piece set which she raved so much about so when I saw this complete set, I thought I'd make her birthday, Thanksgiving and Christmas happy by giving her set. She also bought a new house so it'd be a great housewarming present all rolled into one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking to update my dinnerware and this set by Stone Lain was the perfect choice. This set is definitely a much needed upgrade as they look so elegant and modern. This dish set is beautiful! I love the black matte color as it goes perfect with my kitchen décor. There are 16 pieces in this set-4 salad plates, 4 dinner plates, 4 bowls and 4 mugs which is perfect for my family of four! The size of the plates, bowls and cups are perfect! I also like that each pieces has an edge around the top. I was also impressed with the quality of these dishes as they have held up great. The dishes have some weight to them and they appear to be very durable. The plates and bowls stack so nicely on top of each other which is great if you don’t have a lot of cabinet space. Another added bonus is that this stoneware is both dishwasher and microwave safe! I know these dishes will last me for years to come. I definitely recommend this dinnerware set! This would also make a great gift!

The dinner and salad plates are even prettier in person. Sauces can get stuck/dried in the design, have to make sure to clean with a sponge before putting in the dishwasher. Wish the set had come with the fruit bowls instead of the soup ones. They’re so massive it’s impossible to stack more than two in a pile in a standard height cabinet. Found it odd the bowls logo/print on the bottoms have washed off every single bowl but the plates and mugs logos are still there. Unfortunately the bowl is not the best for microwaving, most times the ceramic gets insanely hot but the food is still cold and it shows scratches from silverware much worse than the plates. These setbacks wouldn’t cause me to not repurchase another set but I will not order another set till pfaltzgraff offers one with the fruit bowls, till then I’ll keep waiting.

My Dinnerware sets arrived timely and I could not be happier with the quality of these dishes. They are so beautiful and the price was amazing and the product quality is very high end. The picture doesn't do them justice. I have seen dishes at 3 times the cost that are not as nice. I ordered 2 sets and unfortunately 3 of the dinner plates were broken, I think it was probably on the shipping end. I called Wayfair at 8:30 in the evening, my call was answered immediately by Kathy, I wish I had an employee number or some other way to identify her because she was wonderful. She suggested that I open all of the boxes of both sets to be sure that I did not have a problem with any of the other dishes, she waited patiently and chatted with me as I checked. When I finished I asked what I needed to do and she said that I didn't need to do anything further the replacement dishes were ordered and would be shipped asap. She gave me a date to expect them and immediately received a confirmation email. I could not be more thrilled with the product and especially the customer service!! Thanks Wayfair and Kathy.

I’ve been wanting to replace my dinnerware for a couple years now and have been looking for a set that really “spoke to me”. I ordered this beautiful set in taupe because we have a black wood counter height table, the floor and countertops are shades of beige/cream, and all my serving pieces are black. I love this set and have gotten many compliments from friends and family. I ordered two sets and one of the bowls arrived broken so I called customer service and asked if they could send another bowl. They said they couldn’t send a single bowl, but they would send another entire set. That’s amazing customer service and I will definitely look to Wayfair for future purchases.

This set is just perfect! I love the fact that it has a smaller bowl instead of a matching mug, and the slight variations between pieces make this set feel handmade! The neutral colors are great for any table setting. I have only been using them a few days yet, so well have to see how they hold up. But so far, Im in love!! A couple pieces were broken when my order arrived, but Wayfair promptly shipped me another set. Thank you, Wayfair, for great product and service at an unbelievably good price!! Several months later Im still loving my dishes! The only thing that disappoints me just a little is the fact that silverware leaves gray scratches on the surface. But because these are only everyday dishes, its not too big a deal to me... Id sure still recommend this set to anyone!!

Measure your cabinets - these plates are too big to fit with my cabinet door closed. I'm keeping them anyway because I didn't realize until I got rid of all packing materials. They are sturdy and look nice. The white lines on the blue plates is more of a beige. I would've liked the white more. They are very heavy as others said which I didn't mind until I remembered I just bought a manufactured home so I am nervous to put them all in one spot. I am going to buy a sideboard/buffet for my dining room to keep the extras (I bought 3 sets because we have our families over a lot) so my cabinets don't collapse from the weight.

I bought three sets of these in white for our large family's everyday use and for casual meals when friends join us. Our dining room is Colonial farmhouse and I wanted something neutral and rustic to replace our Pfaltzgraf stoneware set that has faded and chipped after fifteen years of hard use. The dinner plate is large, but a good size, and the salad plate, bowl and mug are very large compared to what I usually see. The mugs especially, because I hadn't thought about where I'd store 12 super-sized mugs. I thought the packaging for shipment was good. One salad plate and one mug had one very slight chip in them, but everything else in the three sets arrived (quickly) in good shape. It is lead-free stoneware with a slight shine to it, resembling the Pfaltzgraf set we used to have and really liked. The aged look is a subtle brown paint blended into the white, the pattern is varied on each item, and it doesn't look tacky to me. I searched a long time for lead-free dish sets and this was the best for our budget, considering we needed service for 12. We've used them and washed them in the dishwasher for a week and so far we're very happy.

Ive been waiting to find these dishes on sale for years! Thank you Wayfair! I bought these for my daughter for her anniversary. She has some pieces already, just a few, no dishes. This set is a serving for 6, plates two sizes, and cups! I cant wait to give them to her. As stated in the description, these dishes are usually hundreds of dollars. Way too expensive usually for the average customer even though they are worth it. So, if youre looking at these, dont hesitate, Im sure they wont last long. As all Lennox items, they are beautiful. These dishes are decorated with lovely delicate flowers and butterflies. A pattern made perfect for anytime whether its everyday, or a special occasion or holiday. And, a generous service for six. Dont hesitate!

I have been married for 30 years and my 2 children are now adults. I finally have a new dinnerware set that is beautiful. No cracks or chips and all pieces accounted for. I could hardly wait for this time when I could purchase the set I would fall in love with and not be afraid of the childrens accidents. Here it is, a year later. NOT loving these dishes anymore. The trim color comes off a little each time they are washed. The dishes dont stand up to metal utensils. They are scratched up from forks,and cutting our food on them. Scratches are gray, so you can imagine how unattractive they now look.

These dishes are beautiful! The picture is exactly what you can expect. I love the size of the bowls and mugs! The slightly off white color is just what I was looking for. The first set came with a chipped mug and some rough edges underneath a couple of bowls. There were also a few small lumps on a couple of the salad and dinner plates, but Wayfair quickly send me a new set. Absolutely great service! The only reason I rate a four is because of the imperfect first set. Also, mine is not named as they are advertised. They are advertised as Colleen 16 piece and the box says Gibson Home Jaylnn Court ceramic set. However, the dishes look like the ones advertised. I absolutely live my new dishes!

I cannot express just how pleased we are with this dinner wear! Of course we loved the sculpted square lines of the pieces, but we didnt know what to expect from our selection, as actual colors are hard to gauge from photos online. Well, when we received our first box, we were so thrilled that we immediately ordered another! They look great with the dark brown cabinets and black appliances in the kitchen of our upscale industrial reno. And they move seamlessly into our living and entertainment spaces, where they look brilliant with our Wayfair carpets featuring grays, seafoam and other greens, and various shades of orange, rust, and blues! One warning. They are great in the microwave and dishwasher, but be careful not to hit them on the edge of your sink or counter. Like all stoneware, they will chip. If you love them as much as we do consider purchasing an additional set for the extra friends and long, long years of enjoyment!

Ordered the Lapis and Poppy Bistro Sets. Very happy with them. Now I just need the Daffodil and Lemongrass and I"ll be set. This is the first time I've ordered from Wayfair and had I'd known they use Fedex for delivery, I wouldn't have ordered anything. Fedex left the package inside my apartment complex. Could have been taken by anyone. Thank god a neighbor had just walked by and saw it. Too many things get taken when just left like that. Box was all smashed up. Thank god it was packed well so nothing was broken. Wish Wayfair didn't use Fedex so probably won't order anything else in the future. Unless I could specify how they have to leave it. At least with the Post, if you aren't home in an apartment complex, they leave a notice and take it back to a Postoffice.

I am in love with these dishes! I've had them about six months now, since I moved into a new home. They are substantial, the neutral color is great and the mix of patterns is fun! I wash them in the dishwasher. I've had one chip on a bowl, which was disappointing and I'm not sure how it happened as I didn't notice until it was too late, but it's on the rim so I think it was probably up next to another bowl or glass, so I am careful now to leave space when loading the dishwasher so that they won't bump against each other. Not holding that against the quality of the dishes. Things happen. My only wish is that these could be purchased Open Stock and that there would be serving pieces to match. But I'm not really fancy, so I don't require the serving pieces. Great casual set for my casual lifestyle!

Love these dishes! I have been looking for new dishes for such a long time and finally, these caught my eye. I loved that they were the neutral grey that I wanted but the pop of orange was a bonus. The different patterns and the vibrant orange is even more beautiful in person. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because the ring around the bottoms is a bit rough (on some pieces more than others) so I'll have to use chargers or place mats in order to protect my wood table. Other than that, the plates are heavy and of good quality. They arrived in perfect shape with the exception of a small chip on the edge of one of the salad plates which I emailed Wayfair about. I'm sure they will send a replacement. I love Wayfair because aside from good prices and great selection, their customer service is outstanding. If you are debating, buy the dishes! They are beautiful and fun.
