They invented the glass tempering process back in 1939, and ever since, the name Duralex has been synonymous with toughened glassware that lasts.

These tumblers are perfect! We originally bought them for iced cortados and they’ve been fantastic. They’re just a smidge too tall to fit under our espresso machine with a scale, so we pull the espresso into a separate cup and then pour it into the tumbler. It’s really no big deal. The glasses have a nice weight to them and are relatively thick, so we never worry about dropping ice into hot espresso or coffee. As a bonus, we’ve had these exact same glasses at a restaurant where they were used to serve wine, and they were perfect for that too.
