The Café Retro Collection brings bold color and vintage-inspired character to the traditional French butter crock. Each glossy stoneware crock features the word “butter” in raised lettering on one side and the French word “beurre” on the opposite side. Pack softened butter into the bell-shaped lid and add approximately 1/3 cup of cold water to the base to create a protective water seal. The crock holds one stick of butter (1/2 cup or 125 grams) and keeps it soft and spreadable without refrigeration when used as directed.

I love this little butter crock. What a great design and I love the color. It’s worth the money.. Angela. Puyallup, WA. Tue Jul 23 2019

I love it. Perfect size. Besides butter , you can keep other things room temperature and protected like a good sized chunk of cheese and guava paste. I love room temperature cheese and we go through it fast. enough. Maria. Sugar Land, TX. Tue Sep 22 2026

Winston Porter Mini butter dises are adorable as they are practical.

Practical. Can put one at each end of the table, or set one out on the counter for every day use, not taking up too much space. Come in several colors to add a pop of color or integrate with various dish patterns.. Anne. St. Louis, MO. Fri Jul 26 2024

Show off your love for the country life while keeping your butter at room temperature with this Vagabond House butter dish topped with Mabel the cow sitting comfortably on top. The double-glazed stoneware dish and cover have a smooth, warm white finish that matches any kitchen or dining room decor. Mabel the Cow is made of luxury pewter and sits content on top of the cover with a ring of flowers around her neck. The stoneware butter dish holds butter sticks, and the lid rests comfortably over the butter to keep dirt, heat, and cold out. Set butter on the counter or table instead of the refrigerator so it spreads easily and remains at the best temperature for baking.

Four stars only because it is just a tad small for the euro butter, and because the cute cow on the top is not a great handle as it is a bit awkward to pick up the lid. Two very minor problems, so if you like it, I don't think there is a prettier one out there, at least not that I was able to find over many days searching. I wish they would make euro butter dishes a bit larger.. Sheri. Galveston, TX. Fri Sep 18 2026

Set the table with glossy melamine charger plates, crisp, folded cotton napkins, and these adorable butter dishes, then set a blooming bouquet of carnations in a glossy ceramic vase as a floral centerpiece for any occasion.

These are adorable! The color is great too. They only hold half a cube of butter, but I don’t even mind.. Mary. Las Vegas, NV. Wed Mar 17 2021
