This bread maker has many different optionspresets for bread types, loaf weight, and loaf color. I was excited to find it had a gluten free preset. It’s been 10 years since I’ve attempted gluten free bread in a bread maker and this product handled gluten free much better than the one I used years ago. My only concern is the hinge connection for the lid - the metal at the hinge seems to bend with the weight of the lid when the lid is open which might cause issues in the future. Two days in and already obsessed — Gourmia bread maker I'll be honest — I wasn't sure how much we'd actually use a bread maker. It seemed like one of those appliances that sounds great and then quietly collects dust on the counter. The Gourmia bread maker proved me completely wrong, and we're only on day two. The first loaf came out golden, perfectly crusty on the outside and soft inside. We followed a basic white bread recipe and it was genuinely better than what we grab at the store. But what really surprised us is how much more this machine can do beyond bread. Last night we used the dough setting to make pizza dough from scratch. It came out smooth, elastic, and easy to stretch — exactly what you want. The pizza we made with it was a hit with the whole family. And this morning? We tried making apple jam using the jam setting. We honestly weren't expecting much, but it turned out beautifully — thick, fragrant, and not too sweet. We're already thinking about what fruit to try next. What a wonderful little tool! I’ve been wanting forever to get one of these bread makers! I also love that it came with a recipe book which features SO many recipes. I tried the easiest one (because I figured I couldn’t mess up) and did the Italian Bread. It took roughly 4 hours but it was nice and simple! I was so excited to cut into it I forgot to take a picture of the finished product. The bread came out of the pan with no issues what so ever and the unit itself is a little bulky, but it is great for the price.
