It worked great. The filters prevented the coffee grounds from going into my cup. It made my cup of coffee in under 5 min. My only complaint is that I read the reviews that said it took forever to make the coffee, so I turned the machine on 15 min before I was ready to drink, only for it to make the coffee quickly and have my coffee sitting getting cold. ** UPDATE** this coffee maker broke after a couple of weeks of daily use. I emailed the customer service email address that was provided by the company in the booklet it came with and they have ignored me. I’m really frustrated. It only dispenses about 2 ounces of coffee. You have to open and close it and reset it 3-4 times to get 2 more ounces each time. Also, when you open it, it sprays hot water on you which is dangerous. I tried all the troubleshooting tips the booklet suggested and now the company is ghosting my email. If I got a defective unit they should be happy to send a replacement but the lack of customer service is unacceptable. I would NOT recommend this coffee maker or anything else from this brand. ** I’m really liking this coffee maker so far! My old one was big and bulky and I only drink one cup of coffee a day so I needing something smaller and simpler. I love how this one has the option of filling the pod with ground coffee or using pods that you buy already filled. It also has an iced coffee setting, several size options for different cup sizes, and a bold or regular option. I was really impressed by how quickly it heats up and makes a cup of coffee. This is a great percolator. It brews a full pot in 10 minutes and according to my meat thermometer the coffee is about 150 degrees which is perfect for us. I am still developing the muscle memory needed to replace the percolator onto the hot plate but not a big deal. Of all the percolator we've owned this is the best brand. So far we get 1.5 years of service from each so time will prove this brand. We are very happy. Thanks Vevor for a great product and thanks Wayfair for a good deal. L'chaim to all.
