Everything has been Meraviglioso!! The plate sets match my lava stone table that I bought in Italy and had shipped to me! Color was perfect, they feel sturdy. I read a few reviews that said they had some chipping of their plates. I have had stoneware before and I feel these should not easily chip unless of course they are dropped or not handled with care. This plate set takes up less room in my upper kitchen cabinet than most plates and bowls. However, they do not stack as well neatly. The fact that they are each unique is appreciated.
