Plastic & Stoneware Food Mills

With the manual Starfrit Pull Chopper, you can cut food efficiently because each time you pull the cord, the blades turn 8 times inside the unit. The more you pull, the more your food will be chopped finely—even to a puree! The blades can even crush ice into snow. This manual food chopper is ideal for fruits, vegetables, fresh herbs, meat, eggs, and more.

Even when you love cooking, it helps to have an easy out of all the prep sometimes. In this case, throw some rough chopped anything that has a decent structure to it (large quantity of leafy greens and soft herbs won't work well here) and it will dice it up. Works ideally on things like garlic gloves, chunks of onion, baby carrots, cabbage, tomato, etc. If you have a family to cook for and some evenings it's way too much to dice up a bunch of ingredients and a food processor seems a bit too expensive or loud, this is your guy.. Riverstone arrives already worn smooth by water, so a mortar made from it feels ancient before you have used it once. Real weight keeps the bowl rooted to the counter while you grind, which is most of the battle. Its generous bowl handles a whole batch of spices, a paste of garlic and herbs, or a rough pesto.

Was hoping for the contrasting color on exterior of the bowl like the Wayfair photo. I received a gray bowl, inside and out. Otherwise it was perfect.. Kat. US. Mon Sep 01 2025

Efficient grinding and pounding of all herbs and spices for homemade pesto, spice and herb blends and salsa and when the grinding is done, the attractive mortar can go directly to the table. Convenient cord cover preserves flavors and aroma.
