Handmade cowhide placemats, cut from panels of genuine hair on hide and stitched by hand. Every hide is different, so the browns, blacks and whites fall in their own way on each mat and no two in a set are ever identical. Each mat measures 13.5 by 17.5 inches, enough room for a dinner plate with the setting around it, and the hide gives a firm base that lies flat on the table. Choose the tricolor pattern or the star design, which sets a single hand cut star at the centre of every mat, in sets of four, six or eight. Real leather rather than a print, they spot clean and stack away flat between meals.
