This is so pretty! I’m doing a kitchen refresh and decided this would look great on the stovetop between the green cabinets with the off white tiles (not yet installed). The whistle is annoyingly loud, so you will hear it no matter where you are. You do have to flip the spout cover up independently of the handle I don’t mind, but you might. I love this tea kettle. Only thing is the lid has a protrusion knob that is wooden painted silver. The knob on the cap is extremely loose and cannot be tightened. Noticed today that the knob has actually split in a couple of places. The product has a 5 year warranty and inadvertently I purchased a warranty as well. Can I have the cap replaced?. Peter.
