I love the shape of the dishes in this set. The lip on the plates is really nice, especially with kids, to keep the food from sliding off the plate. The bowls are nice and wide and not too tall. The mugs are a really pleasant shape as well. My son says the design is “aesthetic” and modern. I like how smooth the finish is, although the lip of the dishes (including the mugs) is not glazed, so it’s a little rough. It doesn’t really bother me, but if you don’t like mixing textures, you might want to keep that in mind. It’s great that they’re dishwasher and microwave safe.
