Had a subcontractor reenforce the wall behind the drywall to account for the weight and my piece of mind. After they replaced drywall and installed the racks (which he said was a breeze), we added a waterproof microcement/concretta (looks like venetian plaster). Everyone who has seen it says it looks even better in person than the photo shows. We will be adding a glass enclosure and cooling unit. Really impressed with the racks. Love this piece! It goes really well in my dining room. Hanging was not too bad. As the details state, it comes in 3 feet and 4 feet racks. Once you get the top pieces aligned and installed (we did the 3ft for top), the bottoms attach with a plastic piece and then you just have to screw into place. 100% recommend this to someone looking for a sleek, low profile, stylish wine rack..
