The Zwilling Pro series leaves no wish unfulfilled when it comes to elegant kitchen gadgets that also impress through their daily use in the kitchen. The soup ladle boasts a 150-ml fill capacity that’s especially practical for serving soups and stews and has what it takes to be a genuine design classic. Behind the design are internationally known designers Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez, who have employed a design language that is both timeless and modern. The soup ladle is made with premium stainless steel and has been splendidly crafted before both a polished and satin finish is applied. The ladle radiates a wonderfully brilliant finish while the handle remains matte. The ergonomic handle makes using the soup ladle particularly pleasant. The Tovolo Silicone Mixing Spoon with Stainless Steel Handle is the everyday spoon for stirring sauces, mixing batters, folding ingredients and serving side dishes. A reinforced nylon core inside the silicone head keeps it from bending, so it holds its shape in thick cookie dough, nut butters, risotto and dense sauces. The flexible silicone surface glides across nonstick, cast iron and stainless steel cookware without scratching, while still contacting the whole pan for even stirring. The head is heat resistant to 600 degrees Fahrenheit and BPA-free. The spoon measures 11.75 inches long with a 2.36 inch wide head, and the sturdy stainless steel handle reaches the bottom of stockpots and mixing bowls. The silicone resists stains and odors from tomato sauce, curry and turmeric, and the spoon is dishwasher safe.

A skimming ladle is the perfect kitchen gadget for draining excess fat or starch. It’s also ideal for adding and removing delicate foods to and from saucepans, such as spätzle, vegetables, or deep-fried foods – providing reliable protection from spitting while you do. The Zwilling Pro series skimming ladle is made of premium stainless steel and has been developed by the designers Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez. This is the reason for its elegant and, above all, timeless design that will continue to impress even years from now. The handle’s design not only places importance on appearance, but it is also equally ergonomic and functional. The skimming ladle sits particularly well in the hand and a generous loop in the handle means that it hangs on a wide range of hooks. The shallow ladle also allows you to easily remove food even from the bottom of the saucepan and liquid drains particularly well through the large apertures. Once you’re finished using the cooking utensil, simply pop it in the dishwasher and hang it on the rail as a kitchen design highlight.

It was great for skimming the solidified fat on top of the cold broth and meat stew. I haven't used it to remove fried food from hot oil. That's next.. Alice C. Toronto, Ont. Mon Dec 02 2024

Into Italian food? This Brabantia Spaghetti Spoon is the tool you need to get a grip on your spaghetti. With a nice long stem and prongs that are made to grab and hold the strings. No strings attached.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a couple of weeks ago and the spoon is really handy for plating up spaghetti, tagliatelle etc. and controlling portions. It would be even better if there was a hole in the end of the handle so it could be hung up but that’s just a minor change.. Lpb95. Sheffield. Mon Dec 12 2022
