Light Blue Transitional Modern Cooking Utensils

The Tovolo Silicone Slotted Turner with Stainless Steel Handle drains oil and juices back into the pan through its slotted head before food reaches the plate. Thin, tapered edges slide under eggs, pancakes, fish fillets and cookies without tearing or breaking them. Inside the silicone, a reinforced nylon core adds rigidity, so the head does not bend under heavier foods like burgers. The turner measures 13.25 inches long, and its 3.25 inch wide head supports sandwiches and pancakes as you flip. BPA-free silicone is heat safe to 600 degrees Fahrenheit and will not scratch nonstick, cast iron or ceramic cookware. The sturdy stainless steel handle gives a comfortable, balanced grip and adds strength when lifting. The silicone head resists stains and odors, and the whole turner is dishwasher safe.

The Tovolo Silicone Mixing Spoon with Stainless Steel Handle is the everyday spoon for stirring sauces, mixing batters, folding ingredients and serving side dishes. A reinforced nylon core inside the silicone head keeps it from bending, so it holds its shape in thick cookie dough, nut butters, risotto and dense sauces. The flexible silicone surface glides across nonstick, cast iron and stainless steel cookware without scratching, while still contacting the whole pan for even stirring. The head is heat resistant to 600 degrees Fahrenheit and BPA-free. The spoon measures 11.75 inches long with a 2.36 inch wide head, and the sturdy stainless steel handle reaches the bottom of stockpots and mixing bowls. The silicone resists stains and odors from tomato sauce, curry and turmeric, and the spoon is dishwasher safe.

The Tovolo Silicone Potato Masher with Stainless Steel Handle turns boiled potatoes into smooth, creamy mash without scratching your cookware. The flexible, zigzag-shaped silicone head follows the curve of round pots and bowls, covering more area with each press so you need fewer passes. It is safe on nonstick, ceramic and enamel pans as well as stainless steel bowls and cast iron. The heat-resistant silicone holds its shape when you mash hot potatoes straight off the stove, and it resists stains and food odors. A sturdy stainless steel handle gives a firm, balanced grip through long mashing sessions. Beyond potatoes, it mashes beans, avocados for guacamole, soft fruits, cooked vegetables and baby food. The masher is BPA-free and dishwasher safe.

This Tovolo Flex-Core mini set pairs a silicone spatula and a silicone spoonula, each on a long, narrow stainless steel handle that reaches into jars, cups and other small spaces. Inside each head, a rigid nylon core gives you the firmness to scrape a bowl clean and push through sticky dough. Flexible silicone edges follow the curve of the bowl and protect non-stick and cast iron pans from scratches. The spatula is the one for spreading, folding and scraping. The spoonula takes over for scooping, stirring and portioning frosting, sauces and fillings. Both heads are heat resistant up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit, so you can use them right in a hot pan. The stainless steel handles stay comfortable during long prep sessions and resist corrosion over time. When you are done, both tools go in the dishwasher.

The Tovolo Flex-Core All-Silicone Spoonula combines the shallow bowl of a spoon with the flexible edge of a spatula, so one tool scoops, stirs, serves, spreads and scrapes. The offset, angled head sits slightly below the handle, which makes it easier to scrape a mixing bowl completely clean. Tapered edges reach the corners and curves that rounded spoons miss. A patented nylon core inside the silicone head adds strength for thick batters and stiff doughs without losing that flexibility. The head is 2.25 inches wide, sized for reaching into bowls and jars. BPA-free silicone is heat safe to 600 degrees Fahrenheit and gentle on nonstick, ceramic and cast iron cookware. The one-piece build has no seams to trap food and goes straight into the dishwasher.

I was not expecting a set when this was delivered, but I really love Tovolo products, so I am absolutely okay with this. I like utilizing wood and silicone utensils to help protect our cookware. One thing to consider is staining, which I normally can avoid by cleaning it right away or a soak in very hot water. I havent had any issues yet, but with a different brand of silicone I have..
