Flowers blossom with an exuberant feast of colors on a casserole designed in the Talavera style of the state of Puebla. The motifs are painted by hand over the ivory-color ceramic dish with a palette that includes yellow-orange, blue, and green flowers over a crisscross network of dots and crosses. Bordered by a black honeycomb, this tray comes from the 'Zacatlán' collection designed by Pedro Tecayehuatl. Talavera is a distinctive art form brought to Mexico by artisans from Talavera de la Reina, Spain. The ceramic artisans of Puebla, Mexico then incorporated Chinese designs, thus creating the blue and oyster-white patterns traditionally associated with Talavera Poblana. National and international conventions require that a rigorous procedure is followed in the elaboration of authentic Talavera-style ceramics. Each individual piece will be slightly different, and therefore a unique work of art.

The quintessential farmhouse look is the foundation of the Fattoria collection. A variety of cooking and serving ware pieces like bakers, mixing bowls, and generous pitchers transport lovers of a traditional Italian kitchen look to a more contemporary approach without losing its inherent country charm.

The Heritage Set of 2 Rectangular Mini Bakers turns single-serve cooking into a craft. Each baker measures 8 by 4.25 by 4.25 inches with an 18oz capacity, finished in an antique ivory glaze with embossed botanical sprigs along the exterior walls, a hand-piped swag detail tracing the upper rim, and a sculpted leaf-bud finial crowning each fitted lid. The rectangular footprint is the defining feature — straight sides handle individual servings of lasagna, baked pasta, shepherd's pie, mac and cheese, bread pudding, scalloped potatoes, and single-serve loaves like cornbread or pâté en croûte better than oval or round shapes. Side handles allow safe transfer from oven to table, and the fitted lid traps steam during baking before becoming a cover for refrigerator storage or warmth at the table. Crafted from durable stoneware, dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe. The matching pair makes them ideal for date-night dinners and intimate meals for two.
