These dishes are beautiful, and I really love the earthy colors and unique design. Unfortunately, they chip very easily, which is disappointing for everyday dinnerware. The most interesting things live between two worlds. The Coastal Forest draws from the quiet restraint of Japanese tableware and the confidence of modern Western design — deep, cone-shaped bowls alongside plates with wide, flat bases that feel current without trying to be. The two-tone colorway holds the contrast together, letting the pieces speak to each other without forcing a match. High-fired stoneware keeps everything grounded. Chip-resistant, non-porous, dishwasher-ready — built for the table you eat at every day. The reactive glaze settles into each piece differently, giving the set a subtle variation in finish that makes it look collected rather than bought. Quintessentially sophisticated and thoughtfully versatile, Gibson Elite offers a tasteful blend of form and function brought to a myriad of dinnerware, serving ware, and tabletop accessories. Quality in material selection and stylish aesthetics in designs and glazing techniques provide endless possibilities for creative tablescapes and dining occasions.
