These dishes are beautiful, and I really love the earthy colors and unique design. Unfortunately, they chip very easily, which is disappointing for everyday dinnerware. I expected them to be more durable, especially with normal use. They look great on the table, but the chipping has made me question their overall quality and longevity. Beloved for its sophisticated simplicity, versatility, and durability, Lastra is our bestselling collection. The Lastra 4-piece place setting is a wonderful starter kit for a Lastra collection. Lastra’s design was inspired by the circular wooden slabs used for centuries to create the outer mold in cheesemaking throughout Italy. When fashioned together with twine, the hoop was left with a slight overlap to help maintain the shape of the cheese mold. Maestro molder Stefano Roselli incorporates the overlapping detail into the entire design, from its foot to its rim. A dark dusting on the edges of each piece suggests the ash that was used to preserve these cheeses and highlights each unique silhouette.

Id gotten this to match the rest of the sets I had. I put 4 sets on my wedding registry, but gifted 3. Since getting this set, Ive already put this to the test microwave and dishwasher friendly. Havent tried it in the oven yet, but this is SUPER good quality. Got raspberry. PS Sorry, one bowl is missing. Im eating dinner out of it as I write this review, haha. Anonymous. Sat Jul 13 2024

This set has a slight speckle in the glaze to provide a retro look. The pattern is stylish, with a unique look to each piece.

This set looks exactly like pictures. A little thinner than I expected but they’ve lasted awhile. Just be gentle. Dasha. MO. Mon Sep 14 2026
