The design is genius! Use as a conventional wine glass or flip it over to be used as candleholders. The only reason I gave this glass 4 starts is because the rim is squared oppose to rounded. These French pressed glass goblets are elegant and sturdy enough for everyday use. The pressed pattern is two sided: a flower- embellished heart on one side, flowers and vines on the other. The side seams are unobtrusive, and part of the charm of this type of glass. The goblet is large enough to hold a generous pour. They go through the dishwasher well. The set of six glasses are packed in LaRochere boxes with cardboard dividers. That box was shipped in a larger well-cushioned crate. One of my goblets arrived with a crack in it.
