Contemporary and elegant, this Samantha Gold 12-Piece Dinnerware Set by Mikasa is beautifully crafted of high-quality Bone china for long-lasting strength and durability. Coupe shaped pieces with a distinct, raised edge and a gold accent around the rims elevate everyday dining or casual entertaining, and the crisp white bodies are the perfect base to highlight your favorite flatware and stemware. 12-piece set, service for 4, includes 4 each of: 10-1/2 inch dinner plate, 8-inch salad plate, and 6-inch soup/cereal bowl. Hand-wash with warm water and a mild detergent; rinse and dry immediately. .

I bought three sets of the Mikasa Samantha Gold 12-Piece Dinnerware Set, and I’m very happy with them. The material feels high quality, and the design is elegant . I use these dishes for formal dinners rather than everyday meals because they add a beautiful, upscale touch to the table. My only suggestions for improvement would be to make the cerealsoup bowls a little smaller and to design the pieces so they stack more efficiently for storage. Other than that, they are a beautiful, fancy dinnerware set that I enjoy using and would recommend.. Anonymous. Sun Aug 02 2026

The collection is defined by its use of elegant contrast. Subdued lines encircle one another while bold reflective metallic elements frame each piece while simultaneously framing your most beautiful dishes.

I love modern art and this design fits my personality and decor perfectly! The bone china is exquisite and as a home chef, I wanted a solid white, yet elegant backdrop for the food I serve my guests. I don’t like doing dishes, so my new pattern had to be dishwasher safe, as well as be able to be used in the microwave. The product description says that “Orbit” was safe for both. However, when I put a bowl in the microwave to warm some leftovers, the metal around the rim started sparking and almost caught fire. When I immediately took it out, it was so hot that I burned the inside of my thumb! I would have easily given this set 5 stars, had this not happened. Wayfair and one other retailer are the only ones who list this set as “dishwasher and microwave safe.” The manufacturer and all others state that because of the metal trim, it is only “dishwasher and warm oven” safe. I still LOVE this set even though we’ve had to make adjustments when warning food. I just hope that Wayfair changes this pattern’s product description, so that others don’t have the same unfortunate experience that I did. dishwasher sStillStil. Angela. Inglewood, CA.
