Bring the feeling of a garden gathering to the table with the Round Dragonflies and Blooms Lidded Bread Warmer. The deep brown woven basket and matching lid create a rich frame for the removable terracotta warming plate, turning a practical serving piece into something guests will pause to notice. The substantial thick plate is designed to absorb heat in the oven and release it gradually beneath bread placed in a towel-lined basket, helping rolls, biscuits, tortillas, and sliced bread stay warm longer throughout the meal.
Its detailed relief design layers dragonflies among an abundant mix of flowers, leaves, and stems. Dragonflies are often associated with change, adaptability, and lightness, while blooming flowers suggest growth, renewal, and the pleasure found in everyday beauty. Together, the motif brings a lively natural story to a piece made for nourishment and connection. The matching woven lid helps retain warmth and gives the set a complete tabletop finish, while an easy-lift natural handle adds contrast and handmade character.
The basket is handwoven from real abaca, specifically bacbac fiber, over a supportive metal frame by fair-trade artisans in rural communities in the Philippines. Each strand carries natural shifts in tone and texture, and each finished basket will show small variations in color, weave, and shape because no two artisans weave in exactly the same way. Those differences make each piece personal. Designed for brunches, family dinners, celebrations, and thoughtful gifting, this lidded bread warmer balances genuine function with a botanical design that feels joyful, detailed, and easy to live with.
