The laws of cooking physics state that the higher the pressure, the higher the temperature, and the faster food cooks. So, our PC8 Pressure Cooker is great when you’re pressed for time and need to get meals on the table quickly. With 4 preset cooking modes, simply set the timer and everything from veggies to grains to meat, even seafood, cooks easily and perfectly. Use the included steamer basket to protect delicate foods that are a little more sensitive to pressure. Because safety is so important when cooking at high pressures, we designed the PC8 Pressure Cooker with a 5-point safety system. The pressure cooker beeps to alert you when it’s time to turn down the heat, release steam, and when your food is done, taking the guesswork out of cooking. And since it’s made with a durable stainless steel base, it’ll last a long time without warping.

I love this pressure cooker! It cuts cooking time in half, at least. I did not really want I would not have chosen this color, but it is all that was available. I put it in my pantry, so I guess it does not matter. I probably would have been better off getting a 3 quart because I am cooking for two people most of the time.. Cynthia. Longmont, CO.
