The first one would not grind. I returned it and got a replacement a few days later. The replacement has exceeded all of my expectations. It’s easy to set up. This stainless steel percolator makes the best coffee. I bought this percolator hoping to recapture that rich, robust coffee taste you just can't get from standard plastic drip machines. It completely exceeded my expectations. It deserves five stars because Its fast, easy and makes fantastic, strong coffee. I use regular grind coffee and the stainless steel basket keeps them in, no grounds in my cup. There's no life without coffee and this is the perfect maker.
