Id gotten this to match the rest of the sets I had. I put 4 sets on my wedding registry, but gifted 3. Since getting this set, Ive already put this to the test microwave and dishwasher friendly. Summit Gold is a mix of textures and visuals, pairing traditional and modern elements on bone china. The dinner and bread & butter/appetizer plates feature a wide gold rim with an etching of scrolled leaves, while the salad plate, cup and saucer have a thinner gold rim with a modern look. Incorporated for more depth are touches of a finely speckled grey and monochromatic looping floral elements.
