I was totally surprised that the cups were made of metal. I was reminded of when I was a little girl and my grandmother had a set of blue and white ones. She would pour a little bit of coffee in one and put alot of milk and a little bit of sugar. With that I thought I was a grown up and we would sit at the table with our Mexican pastry and coffee for breakfast. Now I know that what these say is not appropriate. They are a gift. But the memory is a very special one and I miss my grandma very much. Delia. Delia. Anza, CA. Mon Sep 06 2021

The Pheasant Grove Set of 4 Mugs transforms morning coffee into a ceremony. Each 18oz mug features a footed pedestal base and a deep burgundy curved handle — design details unique to the mugs and ice cream bowls in the Pheasant Grove collection — giving every piece the architectural lift of a goblet rather than the flat profile of a typical mug. An ivory body showcases a single naturalist pheasant illustration above a delicate botanical band that rings the inside of the rim, while the matched burgundy foot and handle create a quiet color block that anchors the mug visually. The four assorted bird designs mean each member of a household claims a different pheasant, and the same illustrations carry through the rest of the dinnerware for design continuity across the day. Crafted from durable stoneware with a smooth protective glaze, the mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe — built for coffee, tea, cider, cocoa, or soup on a cool morning.
