The recipe booklet was straight forward, however, the display console light only stays on for 15 sec’s, and I have to hit menu button to see what cooking phase the bread is at. Possible malfunction I was able to make sweet bread, and the house smell amazing. Really simple… just dump the ingredients according to instructions and press start. I’m extremely impressed with this bread maker. I’ve owned several machines over the years, and this one is honestly the closest thing I’ve found to a Zojirushi-style bread maker without spending 300. For around 100, the performance is outstanding. The dual paddles make a big difference. They knead the dough much more evenly than single-paddle machines, and you can see it in the finished loaf. The bread comes out soft, tall, and evenly textured. My very first loaf turned out better than most store-bought sandwich bread, with a light fluffy crumb and a perfect crust. The controls are simple and easy to understand, and the variety of programs makes it easy to experiment with different kinds of bread. I also like the two viewing windows on top so you can watch the kneading and rising stages without opening the lid. The only thing I didn’t like was the large VEVOR branding on the front. Fortunately it was purely cosmetic and came off very easily with a magic eraser, leaving a clean white front that looks much nicer in my kitchen. Overall this machine punches way above its price point. If you’ve been looking at high-end bread makers like Zojirushi but don’t want to spend several hundred dollars, this is about as close as you’re going to get for the money. Just finished making my first loaf of bread ever. Following the directions provided with the bread maker it was relatively easy. This bread maker has many different optionspresets for bread types, loaf weight, and loaf color. I was excited to find it had a gluten free preset. It’s been 10 years since I’ve attempted gluten free bread in a bread maker and this product handled gluten free much better than the one I used years ago. My only concern is the hinge connection for the lid - the metal at the hinge seems to bend with the weight of the lid when the lid is open which might cause issues in the future.
